This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hey y'all! Listen, if your just bowsing through, don hesitate to leave me a message. In fact, you don't ever need to shut up. Leave as many as you want. All the better for me. And in case your wondering, yes, I'll start to post some art soon, I'm just in the process of finishing a piece as we speak. Not long now...(I hope...).
Hey Dude.
Here's some information for you. For starters if you are on the school computers, it is nigh impossible to send a message on your own accord. You have to reply to someone else’s message to leave a message of your own. But if you are on computer at home you can leave your own message without having to reply. You simply click on the reply button or the comment button under the deviation or journal.
I've already taught you to use the friend’s tool bar, but if you get stuck just leave me a message. You simply do this by replying to a note I've sent you, or (if you've deleted it) go to my homepage and up the top click on the 'send note' button. Everything you want to do is somewhere you just have to look.
Meanwhile, Michael E is thinking of setting up a chat room for inside friends, so if it's set up, he'll send you the code (tis a private chat room). However if you want to chat with other deviants live about their artwork or simply just have questions, try the chat button up the top of any deviantart page and click on one of the chat rooms. Careful though, some are set to private and you could get an earful if you walk on in.
To submit your artwork is up the side of your homepage and follow the guidelines to get your artwork under the right topic. If you ever want to come to your homepage, just click on your name up the top and it'll take you straight back to your homepage.
Another idea for when you have time is to check out your settings and set what you want displayed and what you don't. You can display your favourite work or even have your own signature under each comment you make.
Another suggestion is for the stuff you've written above it to be placed in a journal. People tend to read journals more than comments...well I do anyhow. You do the journal thang the same way as submitting a piece of artwork. It's the button below it!
Well, I'm rambling, I hope I've been a help. Sorry for the length also.
I hope you have fun on deviantart and that you drop by my homepage soon.
Here, have a lolly <offers jar>
Sincerely,
Chocban
